Fmr. Congressman Earns Endorsements from Key National Conservative Groups
Cheyenne, Wyoming –Former Wyoming Congresswoman Cynthia Lummis received endorsements this week from two major national conservative groups in her campaign for the U.S. Senate. FreedomWorks for America and RightWomen both lauded Lummis for her staunch conservative track record in the U.S. House of Representatives and her commitment to protecting individual freedoms and upholding the Constitution.
“As a former member of Congress for Wyoming’s at-large district, Cynthia Lummis has proven herself to be a strong conservative, proudly boasting a FreedomWorks Scorecard lifetime score of 87%,” said Noah Wall, FreedomWorks for America Executive Director. “At the same time, Lummis is a known quantity in the Cowboy State where she has run numerous successful campaigns in the past.”
“Cynthia Lummis will bring constitutional principles to the U.S. Senate where she will continue to fight for small government, free markets, and individual freedom,” Wall continued. “FreedomWorks for America’s community of grassroots activists look forward to supporting Cynthia Lummis in this important 2020 election cycle.”
“I’m honored to receive the support of two organizations absolutely committed to advancing the conservative values of less government, lower taxes, and individual freedom,” said Lummis. “Conservative values are Wyoming values and I look forward to fighting each and every day to uphold these in the United States Senate.”
FreedomWorks for America is a project of FreedomWorks, a grassroots service center whose over 6 million supporters are passionate about promoting free markets and individual liberty. Lummis also received the endorsement of Right Women, a group committed to electing patriots who will courageously stand on their constitutional principles. Right Women noted in their endorsement that the only Senate races they will endorse in are for women who have previously served in the House as stalwart members of the House Freedom Caucus.
